I love all types of medium. My favorite right now is pastel and colored pencils. Love doing people and animal portraits but my favorites change constantly as I experiment.

I love all mediums but mixed media and acrylics are my favorites. My go to subjects are women portraits and animals.

I’m into mixed media but my favorite is watercolor and gouache. I’m really into painting buildings lately using watercolor and ink. Kind of the European look with cobbled streets and very colorful.

I look forward to Wednesday mornings to see the next lesson that arrives in my email box! I am new at painting and have enjoyed learning about every medium! My favorite is mixed media and abstract portraits with flowers and landscaping. I would love to do more pet paintings using various media. I loved PYHAS2025! Thank you! Kathy M

I’ve worked mostly in acrylics but don’t have a favorite. I like landscapes and portraits and still life’s and abstracts. I need practice with perspective, and am looking forward to the Art history component of next year’s curriculum- I’ve already signed up!

Hi Olga. I love lots of media and especially mixing them up together, but I find acrylics the most forgiving. I like portraits and abstracts most but trees and flowers are also lovely. I’m still a beginner and am looking forward to learning and experimenting as much as possible.

I work with watercolor and like painting loose botanicals, animals, birds, human and pet portraits and spontaneous blobs of color. Thank you for the opportunity, Olga!

I have several favorites. I can’t choose between these: charcoal for drawing; gel printing for a paint color kick and print surprise – for this I love Golden open acrylic paint. Subjects: portraits, flowers and animals. Thanks!
