Lorena Iavorschi
Lorena Iavorschi is a contemporary Romanian painter whose artistic journey begins somewhere in childhood when she receives a few tubes of oil paint without obtaining any instructions for use. She begins to paint on small pieces of unprepared canvas – often cut from her father’s shirts. Years later, she attends courses at some art schools, paints icons and face painting. Since 2005, she works as a mural painting restoration assistant. Old churches and hard but particularly beautiful work bring new artistic and moral values. Oil is by far the preferred medium, but she also experiments with other mediums such as acrylic, inks and the combinations between them. She discovers the beauty and versatility of gold leaf. Conquered by the decorative and graphic element, she is still looking for the balance between them and the pictorial image.

Dena Ann Adams
Hello, one and all! My name is Dena Ann Adams and I’m a painter, illustrator and instructor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Painting has been a constant presence and a constant gift in my life – grounding, soothing, inspiring, challenging, and enlightening me each time I reach for the brush.
I love to teach because each time I create an art lesson I feel that it’s an act of “paying forward” what creating art has given to me, and there’s nothing as wonderful as seeing the spark catch fire in the heart of another artist, whatever their stage in the journey.
My own passion in painting is to follow light and color and the rich luminous tactile magic of materials. Landscape and abstraction free my painting spirit, but the animals and people in my inner world sometimes show themselves and I love to let them. I look forward to creating with you in Paint Your Heart and Soul!

Bonita Hendriks
Bonita Balster-Hendriks is an artist based in The Netherlands, where she lives together with her husband, daughter Luna (8 years old) and three cats. Ever since she was a young child she has always been creating. She was always carrying some sheets of drawing paper or a sketchbook around, together with a graphite pencil and a reference picture of a celebrity. She endlessly tried her best to put the faces to paper, developing herself along the way.
She became a primary school teacher and pretty much stopped creating.
After a huge life change in 2016 (the start of chronic nerve pain issues) she re-discovered drawing.
She started to experiment and play with other mediums as well, loving the use of color and endless possibilities of mixed media. Creating made her able to express her inner feelings, find some calm and joy. It helped her to handle the chronic nerve pain and to stay positive. When she is creating she feels like she can escape to another world where anything is possible.
Nowadays she creates in several different mediums such as watercolor, graphite, colored pencil, acrylics and oils. She also loves to play and experiment with mixed media. She loves to put a lot of details in her creations. She works with different subjects, from portraits to nature (flowers, insects, pets,etc.).

Tracy Verdugo

Tracy is an inspiration instigator, prolific painter and lover of the written word, smitten traveller and soaker up of all that is beauty-full. She teaches her Paint Mojo and other creative workshops all over this amazing planet and reminds her students of the wonder that already resides within them.
Her works are vibrant and filled with joy, inspired both by wanderlust, diversity and the beauty of everyday life. Her works are held in collections both in Australia and internationally.

Renata Loree
Renata Loree is a mixed media artist, originally from Czech Republic, she has left her nest at an early age in a pursuit of her dream. She really was not clear at what it was, but probably something about freedom of self expression. That pursuit has taken some major twists and turns, but eventually at the age of 47, she decided to be an artist, and she has painted ever since then every day (most days). Her art eventually raised some following online and she started to teach classes to let other know how was she doing what she did. That of course tickled her pink and she realized that she really enjoyed teaching as well.
Her main interest is to paint stories and she tries to express her dreams and figurative ambitions in any medium that would best communicate those ideas. She also came to a conclusion that there are many ways to express ourselves and it is futile and detrimental to our growth to compare ourselves to others. We are all unique.

Natasha Zraikat
Australian-based artist Natasha Zraikat uses a carefully constructed aesthetic vocabulary of fantastical elements and deliberately executed realism to visually rekindle man’s connection with the natural world. Born in California to Jordanian and Ukrainian-Russian parents, Natasha immigrated to Australia during her childhood and has lived there ever since.
Natasha’s earliest artistic memories include drawing, studying and surrounding herself with animals. This lifelong affinity has seen Natasha grow into a passionate environmentalist, and these themes have spilled into her work in recent years as her concerns about the state of the natural world continue to intensify.
Since winning First Prize in the City Wide Art VIII Competition in Florence, Italy, Natasha’s work has been included in numerous art prizes, including the SBS Portrait Prize, Metro Gallery Art Award, Lethbridge Gallery Art Prize, Williamstown Contemporary and the Art Lovers Australia Art Prize. Her artwork is currently featured in the Beautiful Bizarre artist directory and she was recently awarded Second Prize at The Art of Imagination competition. She has also been featured in Art Edit, House and Garden UK, Precinct and Gelmag magazines.
Natasha is fascinated with nature, humanity and how the two interconnect. The animal allegories found in her work represent various parts of her own psyche and how she perceives reality, exploring our intrinsic connection to our natural surroundings.
Building upon previous years in contemporary portraiture, Natasha’s more recent work looks beyond the physical subject – diving into the realms of deeper consciousness and the human relationship with the natural and spiritual worlds. The artist often uses herself as model and muse, in part as a matter of immediate practicality, but more so to add creative depth to the messages that she conveys through her art.
Natasha’s paintings us to a place where realism and imagination meet. Thoughtful compositions, glowing palettes and painterly brushwork combine, blurring the lines which often define realism and inviting the viewer into a dream-like state where intuitive meaning triumphs over physical reality.

Amanda Rhodes
I am so excited to be part of Paint Your Heart and Soul 2025! My name is Amanda Rhodes but I like to say the A is for art so call me Mandy.
I am a mostly self taught artist who currently lives on a farm in Missouri USA. Art has been part of my life since my earliest days. Drawing and painting and creating my own worlds. My Dad helped inspire my dream of being an artist into a reality by always believing in my crazy ideas and giving me the courage to just go for it.
I love painting the human form. Faces. The emotions we express. I tend to focus on the female experience. Exploring our power and strength, our vulnerability and pain. In these artistic expressions I feel I work through my own life and dreams.
Some of the images I paint come to me in dreams fully realized. Others I really have just a small idea but trust the process and that my intuition will take over. I love trying new things and pushing the boundaries. I work mainly in acrylics as the dry time fits my crazy life. I love 3D mixed media as well and use fabrics and wood and clay to add to my painted works. If I can catch it I will paint on it so there’s really no limit to my canvas.
I fully believe there is art for EVERYONE and always room for more artists in this world. 💜⭐️

Ildy Karsay
In my style in different mediums – the vibrant colours are the connection in between – which comes from my deep soul. I believe that in our crazy world we live in, the colours help us to cheer up.
I’m Ildikó Karsay, living in the centre of Europe in Budapest Hungary. I feel at home in acryl, watercolour, silk and oil too. I love to explore and try new medium, materials and supplies. I love NATURE with the neverending inspirations. I believe everybody is creative, just need a little help to remember.
My main goal to help people to find their inner voice and find happiness and discover joy in creative flow and have peace and forget fears through art and enjoy creating.
I’m a Mom of 3 teenagers, they are very talented with their hands too.
Loving creativity comes from my childhood I was curious and tried everything I met.
Interesting that I first loved crafts. Sewing clothes and funny pets, papercraft, felting, ceramics, tiffany window and lamp making, jewellery from metals and recycling materials. Drawing and painting came later to my life as I believed that I cannot draw. I finished many schools as I haven’t find my way. I’m a painter, graphic designer, artificer, illustrator, calligrapher, typographer, decorateur, parapsychologist, spiritual therapist, tourist guide, Jewelry appraiser, dao yin instructor BUT I’m an all time learner. I teach that the road is the important not the result. This is what I use in healing therapy too. I love to use art as a therapy because I know and I experience every day that art heals.
I’m running seasonal 3 months long online workshops inpired by nature called NATUREART.My brand new course is SPIRIT of HERBS
Nowadays I not only collect interesting background infos to my subjects – because I believe that it is much easier to create if we are familiar with the flower or plans but I dive deep into the healing power of the herbal plants. My SPIRIT OF HERBS course beside the healing power of plants it is full of variety of art techniques. I am always working on secret projects, now the big one is that I am creating a safe place where people can come to visit me in person ART RETREAT in Budapest. I have many plans to inspire people and show that art somehow must be part of our life.
I worked for big movie networks as graphic designer and decorateur when Multiplex Movies came to Hungary. That 15 years (1996-2011) was the rush part of my life with tight deadlines. It effected on my art as I always want to make paintings ready as soon as possible.
I know that TIME is the most important in our life, in my workshops I cut out the boring parts from my videos, so my lessons are shorter but I approach a single topic or theme from multiple angles/side. I was always maximalist and still learn to calm down but since a long time I enjoy the process and try to leave my expectations of the results.
I returned to art in 2008, and I know that I cannot live without art anymore. It is part of my everyday life. My first exhibition was in 1993 with two sculptur from metal and wire. Since then I had numerous own exhibitions from my paintings in Schools, art Fairs, and Galleries in Budapest. My paintings are in private collections iin Hungary, Germany, Australia, USA, Japan, Slovakia and Danmark.

Fran Schlosser
Fran Schlosser is a Calgary artist, illustrator, and instructor. Although creative her
whole life, it was in the fall of 1998, she had an incredible urge to paint seriously
and enrolled in U of S painting classes in Saskatchewan, and has not stopped
painting and learning since, attending a weekly open masterclass in Calgary, and
taking advanced portrait, figurative and sculpture workshops whenever possible
with many well-known artists in Canada and the USA. She has participated in
many Gallery art shows, taught art abroad, hosts elite art retreats in the Mexican
Mayan Riviera and her art resides in homes across Canada, the USA and as far as
Australia.
“Figurative work has always been a favourite of mine with a focus on the portrait.
It is utterly fascinating to me how an image on paper or canvas can capture the
essence of an individual. To create a story, to see a persona, a character, emerge
from a blank, white state, to witness the point during the process that the paint on
the canvas becomes “alive”, when the paint ceases to be paint, and a being
emerges, for me, is just magical!
I would say my style is an intuitive, sensitive, colourful, realism. As much as I love
painting the human being, I also take great pleasure in painting the things in my
life that spark joy – the florals, the animals, the dresses, the accessories, the
music, the entertainment, the fantasy and occasionally, a place that I have been
or would love to be. Some days I like to paint with a knife – thick paint straight
from the tube, mixed directly on the canvas, other days I prefer to paint with my
brushes and mix the paint on the palette, in a more meditative way. And some
days I just want to experiment and see where that leads me. My mind is noisy,
and find myself drawn to subjects and processes that I like to explore for a while,
move on to something different and then circle back again. Threaded into all of
this is a deep appreciation for colour, drama, and skill building.”

Jenny Manno
A teacher inspires a young artist
In the 6th grade I had an art teacher, Mrs.Goddard, who saw a spark of talent in me. She ultimately took me under her wing, encouraging me to recognize it in myself. It wasn’t uncommon for Mrs.Goddard to send another student to pull me from class to help with large school art projects. Being one of the taller girls in school I never really felt like I fit in, so when Mrs. Goddard would request my assistance with various art projects I always felt special. I knew at an early age that this was a once in a lifetime experience. The watercolor carousel horse I was working on in Mrs. Goddard’s class eventually caught the eye of the school principal, Ms. Lee, and before I knew it, I had my first commission. Upon completion, Ms. Lee not only paid me $5.00, she also framed and hung it in her office. It was in that moment that I knew the importance of art and the impact it was going to have in my life. Forty years later and I am still creating, sharing it with the world and making a difference. I have THE BEST JOB in the world! JensPaperFriends
