Olga Furman — Hostess

Hello, and thank you so much for stopping by! My name is Olga Furman, and I’m the artist, hostess, and founder of this amazing collaborative program, Paint Your Heart & Soul!
I’m a Russian-American artist with a pedagogical degree in Art and Music. I live and work in Central New Jersey, where I paint in my home studio.
Art has always been a huge part of my life, and one of the things I love most about being an artist is that there is always something new to learn, explore, and share.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, including First Prize in a juried exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), recognition from the Portrait Society of America as a Select 50 artist, and winning The Next Original competition with the prestigious Kessler Collection (my winning painting was even featured on a billboard in Times Square, New York – gotta admit, seeing my artwork up there was pretty surreal! )
For many years, I ran a successful physical art school, but when online teaching began to grow, I found myself at a crossroads. I loved both, but I simply couldn’t give my best to a physical studio and an online school at the same time. In 2016, I made the decision to close my physical school and dedicate myself fully to building the online art community. I hosted the very first PYHaS in 2017, and what began as a small idea has grown into a wonderful international community of artists and students.
I was actually quite skeptical about online art classes myself until I took one. It completely changed my mind! I fell in love with the freedom of learning from home, on your own schedule, being able to replay a lesson or a particular step, and return to it whenever you need.
And now, here we are with PYHaS2027 — Around the World Through Art! 🌎🎨
This year, we are bringing together 27 amazing professional artists for 50 inspiring lessons. Together, we’ll explore different cultures through art while learning new styles, techniques, mediums, approaches, tips and tricks from every instructor.
Our mission has always been simple: to make high-quality art education accessible, inspiring, and fun. PYHaS gives you the opportunity to learn from talented artists from around the world, practice throughout the year, and discover new approaches – all from the comfort of your own home, with lifetime access to your lessons.
I’m incredibly grateful to every artist who has joined me on this journey, and to all of our students who have made PYHaS feel like such a wonderful worldwide art family.
Join us for PYHaS2027! Learn, create, explore the world through art – and most importantly, have fun! ❤️🌎🎨
